

The Panchatantra is an Indian fable that teaches the reader that pride won’t take you anywhere.The fable starts with a cruel, selfish and extreme
pride lion. This lion named Numskull slaughter animal without ceasing. If he saw it, he kills it. But one day a clever rabbit decided to outsmart Numskull, the lion. Because of his pride the lion fall in the rabbit’s trick and die. The death of the lion brings happiness and peace to the Forrest were the animals live.
This fable teach us that someone that has the power, should take wise decisions and take care of the persons he commands, because the arrogance and cruelty wont let him gain the respect from others but the respect and the good care of the others. Also that pride doesn’t let us see what is happening and will bring us misery and sadness. It shows us that there are more important things.
